A Japanese Katana and scabbard, Showa period. The blade with midare hamon, the tang marked for Ido Hidetoshi of Seki, Mino province (井戸秀俊 Ido Hidetoshi). Fitted a black cord-wrapped ray skin (Samekawa) with chrysanthemum menuki and cloud etched iron tsuba. The plain stained wood scabbard with purple ribbon binding. 68.5 cm length of blade.
