A Chinese four piece silver tea set by Yok Sang, 19th century,

中国, 四件‘翰生’银茶具一套,19世纪,“Yok Sang”和'翰生“标记

comprising spirit kettle, teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug, the spirit kettle with repousse panels of dragons, peony, prunus and chrysanthemums, the other pieces decorated with peony, chrysanthemums and insects, each with monogrammed cartouche and dated 1914 on the foot rim, the undersides stuck 'Yok Sang' and with two character marks, 1950g excluding burner bowl

Condition Report

Some small knocks to foot rims and the cartouche on the sugar bowl but nothing significant. The spirit kettle hinge is missing its retaining pin. A small dent in the burner reservoir.
