A fine and very large Edwardian musical longcase clock the brass dial with silvered chapter ring, and twin chime/silent and Whittington / Westminster chime dials, with foliate brass mounts, set within a hood with carved and inlaid decoration, striking on nine tubular gongs, with three drive trains and weights, the large case with astragal glazed door and carved tapering column sides, with glazed sides, the base with inlaid marquetry panel and supported on short bracket feet. 274 cm high, 69 cm wide, 47 cm deep. Provenance: Purchased in 1985 from Bushe Antiques, London, with receipt. From a private collection in London.
