A 17th century and later coloured map of ‘Barkshire described’ by John Speed depicting an overview of Windsor castle above the map, flanked either side with a list of the Knights of the Garter and a full portrait of Edward III, being the founder of the Order and having rebuilt the Windsor castle when in power, within a black and gilt frame with glass backing revealing the text to the reverse, 39 x 52 cm.
