Two Chinese porcelain tankards, Qing, each late 18th century, one in Mandarin palette, painted with figures in a landscape, with floral vignettes, within blue foliate scroll borders, interspersed by relief moulded butterflies and flowers,12cm; the other painted with a central floral spray with butterfly within a gilt trellis frame flanked by floral sprigs, beneath a band of blossoming garlands and gilt trellis, the overlapping strap handle terminating in moulded leaves and berries, 13.7cm; and18th century Chinese imari plate and a 19th century cockerel plate, 22 & 22.7cm dia respectively

Condition Report

Both tankards are in very good condition and with no obvious faults. Imari palette plate has numerous breaks ands rivet repairs. The cockerel plate has a fine 5cm hairline crack and some rubbing to the enamels.
