Two Etruscan Revival diamond-set brooches in 15ct gold; to include a Victorian brooch in navette shape, centred with a star-set old-cut diamond of 3.6 mm, on a slightly raised rectangular plaque, flanked by scrolled twisted cable decorations, granulation and foliate details, a glazed compartment on the reverse, fitted with pin stem, C-catch and safety chain, Chester hallmarked '625' with maker's mark 'CMW', 1895, overall measuring 5.0 cm across; the other centred with a star-set old-cut diamond of 3.2 mm, on a slightly raised circular plaque, flanked by twisted cable decorations, granulations, crescent and floral details, fitted with pin stem and C-catch, Chester hallmarked '625' with maker's mark 'E.B', 1919, overall measuring 4.8 cm across; Total weight of items 14.3 grams (2).
