A Japanese Kutani deep sided bowl, late 19th century, painted throughout with a peacock, peahen and birds amongst flowers, below a gilt diaper border, signed, 27.4cm dia, 14.5cm high; and a 19th century Imari bowl, with scalloped rim, the interior painted with a phoenix within a border of diaper, flowers & leaves, the exterior with two dragons amongst fiery clouds, six character seal mark, 21.4cm dia, 10cm high

Some rubbing to the enamels of the Kutani bowl, some areas of pine in black enamel are very faint and some rub marks in the bottom of the bowl.
The other bowl has some flaking to the enamels in the interior and some rub marks in the bottom of the bowl
