A series of five rectangular black lacquer Chinese herbalist's boards, Qing Dynasty late 19th century, with raised characters extolling the efficacy of various treatments and potions that are available, each with a shaped iron wired hanging loop. 103 cm long x 22 cm wide. Together with one similar but longer board and a convex board of similar usage.

Condition Report

General surface marks and wear throughout, but structurally sound.

The convex section board has been split along its length and repaired and the lacquer is dry and flaking and its hanging handle is missing.
