The clock winds freely on both trains, the clock chimes the hours and the half as a passing strike.
I wound the clock a little and it seems to run happily, however, this is no guarantee of accuracy or reliability.
The case is in good order with all its required gilt metal mounts, the rear door sticks a little and can be a little stiff to open.
The clock now comes with a key.
