A large Japanese Meiji period carved ivory okimono in the form of a standing robed mage, holding aloft a censor in one hand, burning incense with trailing smoke, the other hand holding a feather fan, with shallow incised detail throughout, with incised and stained signature to base underside, 25  cm high.
