A 19th century gold, diamond, and pearl mourning brooch cum locket; oval, with a central split pearl and rose diamond cluster within radiating bands of split pearls and surmounted with a pearl and rose diamond star. Gold and scrollwork frame and vacant glazed panel to reverse with brooch fitting. Pendant fitting now absent. 5.7cm length. Gross weight 37.48 grams
