A Chinese probably stained Cypress wood coopered provincial "Dowry" plate bucket with a locking handle containing ten wooden plates bearing script attesting to their "stable construction"

Together with two similar "Dowry" plate buckets of varying sizes, containing wooden plates. All three probably early to mid-20th century. 38 cm diameter x 58 cm overall height the largest of the three in this lot.
