Alfred Daniels RBA RWS (1924-2015) British
The artist's archive to include a quantity of period photographs of his works, various correspondence, gallery exhibition leaflets, postcards, a short handwritten autobiographical memoir, various sketches, watercolours, prints and drawings for unfinished works. Together with a folio of photographs, sketches and provisional paintings for some of the Daniels's major commissions including the Hammersmith Town Hall and Mercantile Credit Offices murals, and various certificates including Fellow of The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, Associate of the Royal College of Art, Member of the Royal Society of British Artists, Member of the Royal Society of Painters in Water Colours (signed by HM Queen Elizabeth II) , and a cast 'De Laszlo' award medal by the RSBA presented to Alfred Daniels in 1990.
