An 18th-century probably South German parquetry inlaid canted serpentine chest of two short over three long drawers, second half of the 18th century, with endless knot inlaid and quarter veneered top above-shaped drawers with conforming inlay and crossbanding fitted with heavily cast and gilt period brass swan neck handles, the whole supported by shaped bracket feet, 97 cm wide x 52 cm deep x 99 cm overall height

Generally good condition.
The top has a slight undulation from the ground timber but is free from cracks or splits.
The right-hand side shows some uneven shrinkage
Some very small missing elements of inlay see images.
Some veneer patches to the side, and drawer dividers.
Generally good order, of good colour and patina
