A Japanese shibayama dressing table set, Meiji period, inlaid with mother of pearl, and soapstone, decorated with cranes and other birds amongst blossoming gilt lacquered trees, together with six shibayama napkin rings, decorated with blossoming flowers 1045 grams gross weight

Condition Report

A split down the side of the mirror, with some losses. All brushes with fine age splits but no obvious losses. Some inlay missing from the reverse of the mirror (a crane and some floral elements), and one leaf from the reverse of one brush. All napkin rings appear to be in good order.
