A matched pair of 'Country House' weathered brown hide three-seat "Chesterfield " settees, late Victorian and Edwardian respectively, with deep buttoned roll-over backs and close nailed detail to the scroll arms. One on turned fore supports fitted with swivel castors. 200 cm overall width x 92 cm overall depth x 66 cm overall height, 44 cm to the seat top. Its companion three-seat "Country House" "Chesterfield" settee with squared supports. 196 cm overall width x 92 cm overall depth x 73 cm overall height, 44 cm to the seat

Condition Report

For clarity, Not a true pair

The settees have had some re-upholstery to the seats and the squabs of both settees

The Edwardian settee has later castors

No trade stamps to rear legs or castors of either settee

The Victorian settee has some flex across the seat frame and the bottom back rail has a slight sag.

The cushions show a slightly differing colour

The surface of the leather shows a pleasing weathering/distressing

These settees will need work to make good but are in a "Country House" condition.
