A George III rosewood and specimen parquetry topped work table the top with a "Tumbling Cube" design including specimens of Macassar ebony, ironwood, amboyna, quilted ash, London plane, Indian/Brazillian rosewood, zebrano, sycamore, butternut and others within a cross banded and satinwood strung border, the top lifting to reveal a ratcheting writing surface and fitted interior, the table slung with a celadon green pleated silk work bag, supported by square tapering legs united by elliptical stretchers and terminating in brass socket castors. 58 cm x 39 cm deep x 74 cm overall heigth.
