An early Victorian figured rosewood three-bay open bookcase with lotus flower and harebell applied carvings and housing six adjustable shelves with shaped crimson dust baffles. on a simple plinth base. 188.5 overall width x 45.5 cm overall depth x 95 cm overall height.

Condition Report

The central bay has an extra non-original shelf not mentioned in the description.

The top shows the marks of age

The plinth has some veneer losses to the edges near the mitres and the bottom edge

The right-hand side of the carcass has a bobble in the veneer

The back panels have had eleven holes drilled/cut in them to allow media equipment cables to pass through.

I am unsure if the bookcase has a full complement of shelf stays.
