An early 19th-century carved wood and gilt gesso circular convex wall mirror, with a spread eagle surmount suspending a crystal sphere over a frame with gilt ball detail, and ebonised slip flanked by a pair of scroll candle sconces with prismatic drop lustres and olive branch valance. 104 cm high x 74 cm wide

Basically period but fully re-gilt (premium/bronze powder in lacquer)
Some slight signs of shrinkage to the frame
The mirror plate is in good order, possibly replaced.
