A late Victorian diamond-set fly brooch, featuring a fly form in white and yellow metal, with twisted wire detail, the wings grain-set with rose-cut diamonds and the abdomen featuring a claw-set old-cut diamond, the eyes highlighted with ruby accents, a further rose-cut diamond and a pearl terminate one end of the bar brooch, to pin and C clasp fitting, with additional safety chain, yellow metal surface testing as 9ct, white metal surface testing as base metal, brooch measuring 4.0cm in length and 2.2cm in width, 4.8 grams.
