After Pietro Terani (Italian 1789-1869 a carved Carrara marble bust of Augustus Caesar on a turned socle bearing the legend "TERANI". Mounted on a turned and fluted wood and simulated marble column on a square base. 59 cm high x 30 cm wide the bust alone, 104 cm high 29 cm wide overall the column.
