Condition Report

The canvas has been lined. Craquelure is visible throughout. There are spots of surface dirt throughout, and a few pin prick losses of paint. UV light reveals retouching to a large S-shaped damage to the centre of the composition. Additionally there are scattered areas of infilling and retouching. However an opaque varnish makes a UV reading difficult.
