Condition Report

Appears to be late 17th or early 18th century. The canvas has been lined. There is a small patch to reverse repairing an old damage to the lower right of the composition. There is also a paper "Van Os" label attached verso. Craquelure is visible throughout, cupping in places. There is surface and ingrained dirt, and some surface scuff marks. A dirty, blocking varnish makes a conclusive UV reading difficult, but there is retouching to the aforementioned old damage, infilling throughout and areas of retouching throughout.
