Two items of George III mourning jewellery; comprising a navette shaped mourning brooch, the glazed compartment featuring a miniature of an urn with a border of laurel leaves over a blue enamel ground, measuring 24 x 15mm, with later brooch fiting to the reverse; and a navette shaped mourning clasp, the glazed compartment with a bow and laurel leaves over a background of woven hair, measuring 35 x 20mm, complete with corresponding clasp tongue.
