Depeche Mode: a notebook relating to the 1983 'Construction Time Again' album recording, the band's third album. The book contains arrangment notes on individual songs, such as 'Told You So', 'Everything Counts' (to include handwritten lyrics for the song), 'Shame' (with the handwritten lyrics and bearing the original working title of 'Stupid'), 'Love in Itself' (with lyrics), and others from the album, together with handwritten notes relating to the running order of the album, pencil sketches for the album cover design, flight information and lunch details.
The notebook was given to the vendor by a friend who had had it since the mid 80s. The friend was a photo journalist who had visited the studio to photograph another band, who had used the London recording studio after Depeche Mode. She was then given it as it had been left behind.
