U2 Autographed "War" Album Display - Signed by Bono, Adam Clayton, Larry Mullen Jr., and signed, dated '98' by The Edge, mounted insets of the album's outer cover and inner sleeve, two inset photographs of Bono and the band and the vinyl LP record centre, overall 87cm x 112cm, framed and glazed; with COA on verso of frame.
War is the third studio album by Irish rock band U2, released 28th February 1983 on Island Records. The album's opnener "Sunday Bloody Sunday", a protest song, was written by The Edge in 1982 and describes the horror felt by an observer of The Troubles in Northern Ireland at the time.
Donated by a band member to their child's school charity auction and was subsequently purchased in the sale.
