A Luba/Hemba standing male figure, Democratic Republic of Congo, with sculpted coiffure and short beard, material bound bishimba in the crown of the skull, the hands either side of a swollen abdomen, on a later base, 48.5cm excluding base; a kneeling Luba hermaphroditic figure, holding a figural staff and blade in each hand, 50.5cm; a Luba/Hemba triple male & female conjoined standing figure group, with coloured glass beads and material loincloth tied with natural fibres, 51cm; and an unusual Songye standing male power figure, Nikisi,carved with the head turned to he back, a large metal blade embedded in the skull, the neck and waist with bound bishimba, 54.5cm
