A group of Luba/Hemba figures, Democratic Republic of Congo, comprising two Janus figures, the females with body scarifications, the hands either side of a swollen abdomen, 29cm & 34cm, a male figure tied by the neck to a post, his hands bound behind him, 26.5cm; a seated figure playing on oliphant, 20.5cm; a seated figure holding two short clubs flanking a bowl, 33cm; a seated male figure paying a drum, on a later base, 38cm overall
