Three early 19th Century hairwork mourning brooches; one of circular form with seed pearl border, featuring a glazed compartment with tied lock of hair, pin-fitting to reverse; another of navette form, glazed compartment with scrolled locks of hair, against a white ground (with discolouration), within a seed pearl border, pin-fitting to reverse; and another of oval form, glazed compartment with braided hairwork, within seed pearl border, pin-fitting to reverse; all surface testing as 9ct.
