A late George III mahogany secretaire bookcase, the pediment inlaid with a fouled anchor (1805?), above a pair of shield-shaped astragal glazed doors, the base with sliding top drawer with painted satinwood banded pigeon holes and cupboard, the carcass fitted a further three long drawers on shaped bracket feet, 111 cm wide x 56 cm deep x 251 cm overall height

Condition Report
The right hand door has a slight twist of about 1cm from true.
The lock is not under great strain to secure the doors, when released theright hand only springs a little.
The side of the upper and Lowe carcasses are intact without splits, the half deck has an old crack that extends around about 80mm.
The left hand door has a cracked pane in one of the elliptical sections and a further small pane is cracked of the same door.
The base has some edge banding raised
Some cockbeading is damaged
The base has a slight bump to the corner.
Feet intact.
Interior, good, leather a little tired.
