Dawsons Announce Specialist Decorative Arts Sale

Celebrating 100 Years of Design: 1860-1960

Following on from the enormously successful prices Dawsons have achieved for 19th and 20thcentury Design throughout our monthly Fine Art & Antique auctions, we are excited to be holding a specialist ‘100 Years of Design, 1860-1960’ sale in October, showcasing fascinating items from British, Continental and International Design Movements.

 

  

From pre-Raphaelite art, through the Aesthetic and Arts and Crafts movements, Gothic Revival, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, Modernist and mid-century, we are inviting further entries across all categories.

This will include ceramics, paintings and prints, jewellery, silver, furniture, glass and the wider decorative arts; from the likes of William Morris, Augustus Pugin, Rene Lalique, Liberty, Lucie Rie, Gallé, William Moorcroft, The Martin Brothers, the Guild of Handicraft and others.
