Jewellery, Watches & Silver were again resplendent within our sale on June 17th, and we were delighted to help our clients achieve some fantastic results.


Amongst the many delightful Lots on show was a diamond cluster ring; the principal old brilliant-cut diamond of approximately 2.30-2.40 carats, set within a pave-set border of mixed old cut diamonds.

Lot 139. A diamond cluster ring, sold for £7,800

A gorgeous Faberge 14ct gold and enamel combination cigarette case/vesta certainly drew a lot of interest from bidders online. With blue and white enamelled monogram of Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich of Russia (1866-1933) beneath a crown, with sapphire mounted clasp... It really is a lovely item, and was snapped up by one lucky bidder.

Lot 409. A Faberge 14ct Gold Enamel Cigarette Case, Sold for £6,500

One of the most popular items on show within the auction was an 18ct yellow gold Patek philippe ladies watch, the oval gilt dial with Roman numerals, diamond-set bezel, on an articulated textured link strap... Truly sumptuous.

Lot 536. An 18ct Gold Phillipe Patek ladies watch, sold for £5,400

An impressive 19th century flat-cut garnet necklace of floral and foliate design attracted many an admirer from across the globe. This beautiful necklace is centred with a floral pendant, the chain formed of trefoil set round and pear-cut garnets, the mixed-cut garnets foil-backed, and set in unmarked yellow gold.

Lot 88. A 19th Century flat cut garnet necklace, sold for £3,400

As ever, silver proved extremely popular amongst the many bidders on the telephone and online. This beautiful silver crane was amongst the many lovely items of silver within the sale. A German silver corporation cup, circa 1900, modeled as a crane, import marks for John George Piddington, London - with removable head.
