In her own words, Siobhan has always been a bit of a ‘history nerd’, fascinated with styles and designs throughout various periods of history.
Her love of all things historical naturally led to her working within the world of antiques… Indeed, you may well have seen her as a regular expert on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow.
Whilst James has a leaning towards furniture, he has huge experience as a General Valuer (across all our Departments) and will provide superb advice for any Dawsons customer who may have items of value to sell, or indeed, who may be looking to buy items at auction.
Once our team advise you of your valuation, you may well want to consign your items for sale at auction with Dawsons. Our team will offer you available sale dates and guide you through your sellers agreement which includes details about our item entry fee, reserves, selling commission and VAT. They will also be pleased to answer any other questions you may have.
We have our own liveried vans and our collection team will ensure your items are moved safely and securely from your property to the saleroom. Alternatively you are welcome to drop off your items at one of our offices in London or Berkshire.
Our team of specialists will take care of everything else, ensuring that your item is carefully catalogued, photographed and marketed to a huge audience of prospective buyers across the globe.
