An Early 20th-century pearl and diamond pendant necklace, the detachable cluster pendant of star form, features seven round pearls in an old-cut diamond encrusted mount, with a bejewelled bead cap dangling below, to a conforming hinged bail, attached to a fancy link chain composed of round pearls, old-cut diamonds in millgrained collets and figure-of-eight spacers embellished with diamonds, the length of the chain could be adjusted by adding or removing segments with S-hooks fastenings, fitted with a concealed box clasp and safety chain, unmarked, pendant drop length 5.8 cm, maximum length 60.0 cm, cased in a fitted and tooled leather box.
