A French Empire design double-sided "X" framed stool with stuff over upholstery with "Napoleonic Bee" emblem decoration. Fitted with gilt metal mounts throughout. 85 cm long x 41 cm x 66 cm high.

Condition Report

The frame is firm but shows signs of old screw repairs that could be cosmetically improved upon. The underside of the X frame has been bolstered from the inside with thick plywood sections screwed and glued to the inner surface of the seat frame. see images for clarification.

The upholstery is in good clean serviceable condition.
