A Songye Janus power figure, Nikisi, Democratic Republic of Congo, with horn charge, one face with linear carved decoration and a copper strip, the reverse face with applied metal strips, each with a butterfly mouth, power attributes including a string of coloured glass beads, bound bishimba and animal hide, on a later turned stand, 86cm overall; and two further songyer standing male power figures, with applied sheet metal, brass studs, coloured glass beads, animal hide and bound bishimba, both on a later stand, 78.5cm & 92cm overall
