Condition Report

The top has some cracks but is held together by the hinges and side moulding.

The paint is generally in good order with the odd knock and bump

Note:

I first of all thought it was a relatively modern paint job but the surface has age, I don’t think the date of 1860 that is painted on the box is contemporary with the paint job but the surface certainly looks like its been around since the early 20th century, however, this could be 50/60/70 years rather than 100 years plus, suffice to say it is not freshly painted.
