A Chinese famille rose petal shape bowl, late Qing, decorated with a pheasant upon rockwork flanked by blossom and tree peony above a scroll border, pseudo Tongzhi seal mark, but later, 14.5cm diameter.

Condition Report

The turquoise interior has a matt finish to the lower half, probably worn through use or housing a plant. The gilding to the rim is slightly erased. Otherwise no further faults, free from cracks and restoration.
