Lot 139

A diamond cluster ring; the principal old brilliant-cut diamond of approximately 2.30-2.40 carats, set within a pave-set border of mixed old cut diamonds, shank unmarked (likely white gold or platinum), size L 1/2, 7.2 grams - circa 1920/30s, in a fitted Goldsmiths box.

Sold for £7,800

Condition Report

Overall farly good condition; lacking two small diamonds to mount. The shank has not been tested as this could leave a mark and damage the mount.

the diamond is approximately an I/J colour and around an Si1-2 in our opinion. The stone appears very clean to the loupe, with a few small speck inclusions here and there. The ring mount itself is missing two small diamonds. The box is in good condition, with the name ‘Olive’ and the date ‘1935’ written on it in rollerball.
