A Japanese Meiji period gilt lacquered ivory kodansu table cabinet decorated throughout with birds of prey, pheasants and other birds within floral tree branches, the two front doors with cartouches and gilt patterns, opening to reveal a compartmentalised shelving unit above a set of drawers, the inside further decorated with gilt lacquer, 18 cm high x 18 cm wide x 7 cm deep.
