A Venetian scene of children with baskets of fruit, on the Riva degli Schiavoni in Venice, the Ponte della Paglia in the foreground and the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute in the distance. The older girl stands weighing peaches, with two younger girls looking on and a boy seated on the floor, baskets of fruit at their feet.
Oil on canvas, signed lower right 'Antonio Paoletti fu Giovani, Venezia', in a gilt gesso frame. 55 x 80 cm.
