A large pair of Sevres ormolu mounted pedestal vases and covers, 19th century, the compressed bell shape covers with pineapple finials, floral swag and ribbon band with gilt decoration, the bases painted with romanticised panels of a lady in a swing with her suitor, in natural landscapes and verso a panel of blooming flowers, all against bleu celeste ground, the ormolu mounts formed as winged caryatids and a pierced foliate band, on a square base with pronounced canted corners with applied paterae, 64cm
