A late 20th century Ron Hitchins studio ceramics pottery wall plaque, comprised of six square tiles individually sculpted in high and low relief with three-dimensional geometric motifs, glazed in a glossy terracotta glaze with lightly brushed black glaze to accentuate the, the bottom right plaque with impressed 'Ron Hitchins' signature, framed in a gilt metal and black frame, with gallery swing card, the exterior printed with a facsimile of similar artwork, plaque 15.4cm high, 10.3cm wide It is said that Hitchins has never repeated any pattern exactly, although individual motifs do recur, making each tile unique.
