A matched pair of late Victorian silver candlesticks, John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater, London 1889/90, with beaded removable sconces on corinthian capitals, with part reeded and fluted columns on square stepped and beaded bases, 29cm, weighted bases

Condition Report

One candlestick dated 1889, with the following issues - the column has a 3.5cm long polished through slither, split to one corner of the capital, a small nick on the collar at the base of the column and a small polished through hole on one corner of the stops of the base, small knocks to the base, makers mark rubbed.

The other candlestick is in good order with no obvious faults other than tiny nicks around the base, makers initials partially rubbed.
