A Mid-Victorian garnet and chrysoberyl love knot brooch, circa 1850s, in form of three interlocking rings with applied cable work design, further ornated with textured foliate decoration and set with oval-cut garnets and chrysoberyl, with a similar drop suspended below, brooch fittings at the reverse, in a James Muirhead & Sons Glasgow fitted box, overall measures 5.8 x 3.9 cm, total weight of item 10.0 grams.
