An early 20th century Chinese cased Mahjong set the panelled hardwood case decorated with applied chased white metal mounts and carved calligraphic medallions to sides below a top with looping handles and a button-released falling panelled door, opening to reveal a seemingly complete set in bone and bamboo counters, 19 cm high, 24 cm wide, 17 cm deep.
