A Chinese silver metal armed junk, circa 1900, with three masts, and canons at the fore, mid and aft deck, with engraved character marks to the rear of the ship 'Yi fan feng shun' (propitious wind throughout the journey), mounted on a carved blackwood stand simulating waves, 14.5cm wide, 18.8cm high

There are small apertures on the sides and rear of the deck which may have held war implements, but all but one are now vacant.
