A collection of five 18th century and later Indian portrait miniaturesÂ gouache with gold on paper, each with handwritten text verso. One of the images is named as the Mughal Emperor Shah Alam, relating it to the Battle of Buxar (October 1764), fought against the British East India Company led by Major Hector Munro. (5)
