Tom Hiscocks (b.1963) British 'Reclining Cat', a life-size sculpture formed from cut panels of copper-plated steel, bolted together and spaced apart by hexagonal nuts, 48 cm wide, 18.8 cm high, 40 cm deep. Hiscocks' signature style and technique is the use of carefully cut two-dimensional panels assembled together to form a three-dimensional sculpture. Most of his work is figurative, focusing on human and animal forms and he includes 3D-scanning, computer and laser-cutting techniques in his making process.
