David Palombo was a Turkish-born Israeli sculptor best known for his public sculptures at a number of key sites in Israel, such as the gates to the memorial museum at Yad Veshem (1960) and those at the Knesset. A museum dedicated to his work, inside his old studio, can be found outside the Old City on Mount Zion.
